How to Download TikTok Videos on Android Devices

Android makes saving files seamless. You can download public TikTok video clips directly into your phone's internal storage and view them immediately in Samsung Gallery, Google Photos, or Google Files without installing unknown APKs or third-party apps.

1

Copy the Link from the TikTok Android App

Open the official TikTok app on your Android smartphone or tablet. Find the public video you want to download. Tap the curved Share arrow icon on the right side of the screen, and select Copy link.

2

Open Chrome (or Samsung Internet) and Visit Viditok

Open your Android web browser (such as Google Chrome, Samsung Internet, or Firefox). Go to viditok.com.

Tap the input field and tap the purple Paste button (or long-press the field and tap Paste). Then tap Get Download Options.

3

Select Your Resolution & Download Directly

Viditok inspects the available streams and displays verified options:

  • Download Full HD 1080p: Best original visual quality without overlay watermark if available.
  • Download HD 720p: Fast download with compact file size.
  • Download MP3 Audio: Audio-only file format.

Tap your preferred button. Chrome will show "Downloading file..." in your notification shade with real-time download status.

4

Find Your Video in Gallery or Files

On Android, downloaded media automatically registers with your system media indexer. You can access it immediately through:

  1. Gallery App (Samsung / Xiaomi / OnePlus): Open the Gallery app and look in the "Download" or "Recent" album.
  2. Google Photos: Open the app, tap Library (bottom right), and tap the Download folder.
  3. Google Files (Pixel & Stock Android): Open Files by Google β†’ tap Downloads.

The video is stored locally in /Internal storage/Download/, so it does not use mobile data when watched again offline.

Helpful Android Tip: Chrome Download Settings

In Chrome on Android, tap the three dots in the top-right corner β†’ Downloads β†’ tap the Gear/Settings icon. Here, you can check your available storage space or toggle "Ask where to save files" if you have an external SD card.
