Technical Specifications and Framing Limits
Viditok's 9:16 vertical video resizer provides authentic aspect-ratio cropping powered by server-side FFmpeg. Rather than generating synthetic outpainting or distorted stretching, this utility extracts a genuine 9:16 vertical viewport from your uploaded video while giving you direct horizontal offset control to center the subject accurately. To guarantee predictable execution and fair queue sharing across all users, the resizer enforces strict operational boundaries: your uploaded file must be under 50 megabytes (50 MB) and have a total playback duration of 2 minutes (120 seconds) or less. Video resizing requires active re-encoding using libx264 with an optimized veryfast profile, ensuring that vertical renders complete rapidly without compromising picture clarity. All temporary upload files and rendered exports reside strictly in isolated scratch space and are permanently deleted after 15 minutes.
